Next I plan to try Warwickshire Mindfulness online classes (as I live too far away to attend sessions in-person on a regular basis).

This was my first experience of a mindfulness session. As someone who has a brain that never stops, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to fully switch off, forget my ‘to do list’ and put my toddler and baby stress to the back of my mind. 

After half an hour, I almost forgot I had children (almost). I was SO relaxed. 

Charlotte is amazing! She gave me time to think, reflecting on what my values were, share my thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental safe space and have some guilt-free ‘me time’.

A relaxed, nature-based wellbeing session for parents/carers and children to connect—with themselves, each other, and the natural world—through simple, mindful activities. Designed to nurture family bonds, emotional regulation, and shared calm in a peaceful outdoor setting.

- To provide a gentle, screen-free space for families to slow down and reconnect

- To introduce accessible mindfulness and grounding practices for both adults and children

- To support calm parenting through emotional regulation tools and shared presence

- To foster deeper connection with nature, supporting mental health across all ages

- **Length**: 60 minutes

- **Group Size**: Up to 10 families

- **Ages**: Suitable for a wide range of ages, with activities adapted to meet diverse needs

- The woodland path begins with a steep incline, supported by a zig-zag path and handrail for easier access

- Once at the top, the main paths are wide and level

- No parking inside the woodland

- Nearest free car park: *Victoria Park* (across the road, can be busy during events)

- Bike shelter available at the entrance—walking or cycling is encouraged

Warwickshire Mindfulness offers small mindfulness groups and courses. With an emphasis on creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere our groups are laid back with the main focus being your wellbeing.

In our lives we can become stuck in patterns of negative thoughts, anxiety about the future or difficulties letting go of the past- Mindfulness is a practice that helps to bring us back into the current moment. 

In our groups we use mindful meditations and exercises to help us to all feel more present, to learn to let go, refocus and ground ourselves as well as allowing ourselves to have time dedicated to self care and reflection.
